The application of a Softwash Solution via
a very low pressure nozzle and pump. The
Softwash solution is sprayed onto the wall
or in some instances it is brushed on.
System 1: The hypochlorite solution is
sprayed onto the wall and then left for 30-
60 minutes before being rinsed of. It may
require more than 1 treatment to bring the
walls up to an acceptable standard. The
final step of the process is to treat the wall
with the inhibitor solution. Results are
normally seen within 72 hours of
application.
Pressure Washing at a high pressure is not recommended to clean Pebbledash walls as the force of the jet will dislodge the dash.
Softwashing is the preferred method for the cleaning of Pebble Dash and Roughcast this non-invasive system uses chemicals to remove the staining rather than force.
